A Different Kind Of Future

Heaven Can Wait ran the story below in 2009 about the life-changing decisions two of our dedicated volunteers made after working with the cats and dogs that came through our spay and neuter clinic.  Both women left careers in other fields to become veterinary technicians.  On May 26, Leslie Reisch reached her goal and graduated from college as a Licensed Vet-Tech.

On behalf of all of us at Heaven Can Wait Animal Society – Congratulations Leslie for achieving your goal!

Leslie will work as a vet-tech for the HCWS Spay/Neuter Clinic and at the office of  David Henderson DVM, the medical director for Heaven Can Wait.

  1. I have known a person that volunteered at you facility, and had very high regards for your clinic. I am 73 yrs old and would like to volunteer if I could bring my beautiful Sheltie with me, she is also going to be trained to be a THERAPY/SERVICE DOG to continue where my first Sheltie left whom passed away from LIVER CANCER…God Bless the work you do..
