I wish things were different at my home, I'd take this cutey in an instant. We have a very old Lab who isn't interested in having new friends and our other two dogs are having to "deal" with his grumpiness. Good luck Chester!

Ann, it sounds like you have been very thorough in trying to find a solution to your cat's new behavior. I was wondering if you have checked around your house to see if a new cat might be coming by or even making its home by your house? Another suggestion might be to use a different cleaning solution to eliminate the odor where your cat has sprayed or to lay down sticky paper to discourage your four legged buddy. You might also want to enlist the help of a cat behaviorist.

This is a fabulous story. I have no idea where the myths of cats trying to harm babies got started. When I was born my mother's cat watched over me until she got bored, but she always let everyone know that she'd come first. She never acted out, she was so independent. Each cat is different. I would never get rid of my cat or cats simply because I was bringing a newborn home. They can all live together peacefully with a little effort on everyone's part.

Do you have any solutions for a 7 year old male nuetered cat (since he was 3 months old)) that has decided to mark within the last year? No changes in life style. He has no medical problems and his last 2 urine panels normal. I have 3 different cat boxes in the house and one outside in his private completely fenced cat run that he has 24 access to through a cat door. If I can't fix this there is no way I can pass this problem to someone else unless they were understanding to his marking, I hate the thought of euthanizing him for this.

Wonderful program, I wish it was available everywhere too. This will really encourage people to spay/neuter and will save many animals lives. If spay/neuters are super affordable, accessible and convenient, more people will do it. Made a small donation to help with a cat spay/neuter. Thank you and good luck :)
