Yoga with Rover has become an annual event at Sherry Goldstein’s Yoga Sanctuary.
Once a year, Sherry Goldstein’s Yoga Sanctuary opens its doors to canines who long for serenity, peace and well-being through the art of yoga. Actually “Yoga with Rover” is a fun annual special event hosted by Yoga Sanctuary to benefit the homeless cats and dogs helped by Heaven Can Wait Animal Society.
Each year Yoga Sanctuary invites students and the public to bring their dogs to a workshop that demonstrates yoga poses specifically designed for canines. Taught by a therapist trained in doggie yoga, the dogs have fun hanging out and bonding with their owners.
This year’s 1 ½ hour workshop raised more than $600 for our organization. All of us at Heaven Can Wait thank Sherry Goldstein’s Yoga Sanctuary and those who attended the workshop for their support in ending pet overpopulation in Las Vegas.
