Chuck Grohs doesn’t consider himself an animal lover, but those at the Heaven Can Wait Spay and Neuter Clinic would strongly disagree. Since 2004, the owner of Airtec Gases has donated the medical oxygen that is used during each of our Spay and Neuter surgeries.
“I was just looking for something to give back to the community,” said Grohs. “Animals don’t have a choice about their circumstances like people do, they can’t help themselves.”
Grohs was introduced to Heaven Can Wait through our medical director, Dr. David Henderson, when Airtec first opened its doors. The company has always been ready to help Heaven Can Wait over the years, even as our service and number of surgeries have grown.
Airtec has also helped other animal rescue organizations in Las Vegas. In 2010 they provided lifesaving medical oxygen to the birds at the Gilcrease Bird Sanctuary, after a fire engulfed the facility.
Heaven Can Wait has a great appreciation for Chuck Grohs and Airtec and hopes the relationship between the two organizations will continue for many years to come.
Thank you Airtec!
